I just want to say that in VMware Server Console, the menu options for “Revert to Snapshot” and “Remove Snapshot” are placed very close together and look very similar when you’re not paying attention. And also that there is neither a confirmation prompt when you do a revert to snapshot, nor an undo function. Once you revert, those changes are gone forever.

I’ve always been iffy on the idea of blogging. I mean, I’ve been reading blogs for a while now and I understand that they’re a great source of information and ideas, but to write a blog myself? Hrmph. I can’t say exactly what it was about the idea that put me off — maybe it’s just because I’m introverted by nature. I’m not naturally inclined to talk in general, let alone talk about myself. But I figure if nothing else, it’ll be a good way to organize my thoughts and keep track of the how-to’s and tutorials I pick up along the way so that I won’t forget them later.

So, without further ado:
